The Terrace Senior Citizens Residence is designed for seniors (65 years or older) whose annual income is less than the Household Income Limit set annually by BC Housing. Click HERE to download and see the HILs for the current year. If these two basic qualifications are met, then:
1, Download, (application below)
2, Print and Complete Application, add References and Proof of Income
3, Mail the APPLICATION FOR RESIDENTIAL TENANCY to TDCCSR, Box 73, Terrace, BC V8G 4A2.
The application must be complete before it is considered accepted (with the exception of letters of reference that may arrive by mail separately). Because of high demand for the units, applications will be considered in the order that they are received and based on demonstrated need. Sometimes there is a lengthy waiting list for units, so please be patient.
Your application is in process once we have a complete application and letters of reference have been received. If a unit is becoming available, the Senior Citizens Committee will process the next application in line by contacting references, and, if possible, do a personal interview with the applicant at their current residence. If the application is approved, a RESIDENTIAL TENANCY AGREEMENT for NON-PROFIT HOUSING will be entered into by the tenant and landlord. A sample copy of the RTA is available to view below should you wish to review the terms of the rental agreement.
